Big Sky Presets

If I’ve released new presets since purchasing this pack and you’d like to learn how to receive them, view the update your preset pack page.

You can import these presets into your pedal using a midi cable and Strymon’s visual editing program, NIXIE; or you can simply view them in NIXIE and adjust your pedal’s settings accordingly.

Big Sky Presets include presets that really shine when used in stereo, and others that are designed for mono. I use these presets every weekend and in the videos I upload to YouTube/guitarforhisglory.com.

  • Artist presets: 5 Bethel presets, 4 Hillsong presets, 5 Elevation Worship presets, 2 Carson Presets (Tomlin)
  • GfHG presets: Cloud 1-3, Plate 1-3. These are variations of some of my favorite reverbs over the years. Expect them to be very wet. LOL.
  • Miscellaneous presets: 3 Chorale, 3 Spring, 3 Bloom, 3 Magneto, Huge Plate, Bright Plate, Cloud Swell and Bloom swell ‘verbs
  • Mono reverbs from the early GfHG days: Bloom, Brighty Washy, Cloud, Shimmer, Swell Cloud, Washy ‘Verb
  • Last, there is a folder containing most of these presets tuned for the AXE-FX III, Iridium and HX Stomp, and a separate folder for the Kemper. The Kemper is a bit more compressed, so I have to tune the reverbs a bit differently.

Preset Pack Methodology:

Numbers 1, 2, 3 correspond to the intensity of the reverb, with 1 being mild to 3 being more washed out. 4 and higher are specialty-type reverbs. For example, Bethel 4 is a vocal-esque reverb, while Bethel 5 is a very bright plate reverb. Circumstantial reverbs are noted (e.g., SHIMMER).
