Learned A Lot in Little Time

I had a lesson with Troy a little while back and it was so good. I learned a ton in such a short amount of time. Helped me apply skills

Troy taught me how to use my guitar playing to enhance worship, instead of being a distraction. His approach unlocked the fretboard for me. I also learned how to use effects to properly sit in the mix in a stripped down band as well as a larger ensemble setting. Highly recommended!

I no longer just try to get through the set…

The lessons on your website have taken me from trying to memorize tabs and lacking confidence to being able to understand how I to play within the concept of our worship team and adapt to what is happening Sunday morning. I always come away with new things!

I've been playing guitar for most of my life (in other words, I'm not a beginner) and the techniques I've learned from the Picking Dynamics Tutorial video alone makes it so worth it. I've always known the idea of picking dynamics but the way Troy demonstrates and shows you how to put it into practice gives you that ah-ha moment you've been looking for. I joined when my church asked me to learn the electric guitar. I’ve played acoustic for years but was always nervous to jump into the tone/techniques that are specific to worship. A whole world that I didn’t want any part of. Troy and GuitarForHisGlory have taken me from nothing, to a place of relative confidence in myself as a musician. I can do things now that I couldn’t before

Encouragement, Clarity, Improvement

Had a one-to-one with Troy and it was brilliant. Extremely knowledgeable and patient, and able to keep up as I jumped from one area to the next.
