The GuitarforHISGLORY GFI Specular Tempus Worship Essentials Pack (deep breath, that’s a long name…wow) lays a great foundation for reverbs, delays and ambient tones.

  • 11 Reverbs in the style of Bethel, Elevation and Hillsong.  Methodology: prominence of reverb increases from 1 to 3. Two more reverbs: Fun ‘verb and Duke ‘verb.
  • 14 delays. 3 dotted eight delays: one tuned for Bethel, Elevation and Hillsong. One 8th delay tuned for Elevation, one pattern delay for Bethel. Additionally, my favorite Tape and Analog Delay sounds, a delay in the style of Taylor Johnson from Phil Wickham and a few of my other creations (one sounds like a Memory Man…nice!). Grab the delay you need, set the BPM and boom. Done.
  • 7 ambient tones. Ambient delay + ‘verb, Ambient delay, Crazy Shimmer, Huge Wash, Trem Wash, Pad Wash, Octave Ambient.

To load the presets to your pedal, use GFI’s editing software, SpecLab, which is available on their website.

The GuitarforHISGLORY GFI Specular Tempus Worship Essentials Pack is a MAJOR MAJOR TIME SAVER. The Specular Tempus is a extremely powerful platform especially when put in Stereo. This preset pack brings out the best. The Presets save tons of time. You wont like all of them, You wont Use all of them. However, this gives you lots of creative ideas on how to tweak the pedal to bring out the character in your parts. There are things and techniques I wouldn’t have ever though to try, Especially when it comes to reverbs. If you’ve ever thought the GFI sounded great but was too big, or all algorithms sound the same the GuitarforHISGLORY Worship Essentials Pack has CRACKED THE CODE. It allows my guitar to speak and be supported by the effect rather than be bathed in it. The Specular Tempus done wrong is like wearing too much fragrance. This pack keeps you from overdoing a great thing. Loaded up, the patches are 95% ready to go. Just minor (and I do mean minor) tweaks for tone, decay, preference of BMP or MS , and mod levels/depths and you’re set for some sonic possibilities to inspire you and others. In summary, If you know just how to tweak the settings to get to were you want to go. This product IS NOT for you. However, if you have spent hours in SpecLabs and struggling to get great tone. This is for you. Only thing I don’t like about it, is the price tag. The pedal is already Pricey, Fortunately I’m a position where I could afford to buy a patch pack after investing heavily in the GFI ST.
