This patch attempts to nail my favorite SRV-era—the early 80s El Mocambo/Ripley’s Theatre tone—by trying to replicate the tones from my Custom Shop ’64 Fender Vibroverb with 15″ Weber JBL copy speaker and my Steel String Singer clone.
Two patches: One for more the more aggressive stuff, and one for the lighter, Lenny-style stuff. Setup for Stomp mode with 3 snapshots that take you through various overdrive/gain stages.
No Impulse Responses used; these tones are all stock Stomp cabs. Plug and play!
Above good guitar tone and having fun with gear, my prayer is that you would, maybe for the first time, hear the truth about Jesus Christ, the holiness of God, your condition apart from Jesus Christ and consider what those things mean for your life.
