No IR’s were used for these patches. Just stock Helix amps and effects in all their glory.
The presets in this pack are incredibly simple to use and will allow you to tackle most worship sets. It’s a minimalist approach, just like the HX Stomp. 🙂
The HX Stomp Worship Essentials Pack includes a preset for Bethel, Elevation Worship (two patches: eighth note delay and dotted eighth note delay), Hillsong (two patches: dotted eighth note delay and dual delay), a Jack-of-all-trades patch that will cover most everything else and an ambient patch. These patches are best used in Snapshot mode.
Methodology
For the Bethel, Elevation Worship, Hillsong and Jack-of-all-trade patch, Snapshots correspond to the gain level. As the gain increases, delay and reverb are adjusted accordingly to keep the patch from becoming muddy or chaotic. For example, Snapshot 1 is clean, 2 is light gain and 3 is medium/heavy gain.
For the ambient patch, the saturation of the wet effects increases throughout the Snapshots.
I pray these patches help you along your journey to bring glory to the Lord, joy to his people and salvation to those who don’t yet know Jesus Christ!
Bethel – Meaty, but bright in the right way. Delay and reverb set for that ethereal sound we all know and love.
Hillsong – Bright, defined and fun. There’s one patch for the traditional dotted eighth delay and one for the dual, galloping delay or dotted eighth delay. Reverb set accordingly.
Elevation – Aggressive and in your face. There’s two patches: one for eighth note delay and one for dotted eighth delay. Light reverb.
Jack-of-all-trades – There is a world where we aren’t playing stuff from the above teams, so here’s the catch all patch. Dotted eighth delay. Nice, washy reverb.
Ambient – A special preset for ethereal, ambient tones.
