I keep preset packs up to date with the latest Line 6 cab updates. The cabinets are one of the most critical aspects of tone, and staying current with these updates ensures that your patches will sound the best they can.

Feel free to check out the Read Me file, which explains my approach to using the Helix. It’s a great resource if you want to get familiar with my methods before purchasing.

It’s my prayer that these patches help you lead others in worship, bringing glory to the Lord, joy to His people, and reaching those who don’t yet know Jesus Christ.

A few things before you get started:

  • Plug and Play: All presets are ready to use, with delays and reverbs carefully tuned to match the different sections of each song.
  • Wet Effects Focus: I’ve honed in the wet effects for those ethereal sounds that we all love (or if you’re new to this genre, will likely come to love 🫶🏻).
  • Dual Amps & Cabs: All presets use dual amps and cabs for a fuller, richer tone.
  • Stock Helix Amps & Cabs: These presets rely entirely on Helix’s stock options, which I’ve worked hard to bring the best out of.
  • These presets are an ideal starting point for those looking to save time and learn how to craft their own tones.

GuitarforHISGLORY Helix Worship Essentials

This pack includes dual amp/cab presets for Bethel (2), Elevation Worship, Hillsong, and a versatile Jack-of-all-trades patch that will cover most everything else. Using two amps allows us to combine the strengths of both models, effectively addressing the weaknesses of each (if that makes sense, LOL), while also providing a huge, wide stereo sound.

This is the go-to pack if you don’t prefer to have a preset built for each song. If you prefer song-specific presets, check out the Kitchen Sink Pack.

I pray these patches help you in your journey to bring glory to the Lord, joy to His people, and salvation to those who don’t yet know Jesus Christ!

Bethel – Meaty yet bright in all the right ways, the Bethel patch features three flavors of drive/boost (Daily driver, Light Speed and GE-7). It also includes a chewy vibrato, tremolo, modded delay, and optional compression via my TonePress favorite block. There’s an alternate version of this patch that swaps in a whammy effect—à la Glory to Glory—which is also useful in other contexts. Super fun!

Hillsong – Bright, defined, and fun, the Hillsong patch features three overdrives, each tuned to the pedals like the Analogman KOT (red), Selah Scarlett (Tubescreamer), and Jackson Audio Prism (clean boost). It also includes dual/galloping delay, and a POG for those big octave runs. Optional compression and a dedicated swell button are also present.

Elevation – Aggressive and in-your-face, the Elevation patch has three overdrives tuned to pedals like the Analogman KOT (red and yellow) and Wampler Tumnus/Klon KTR. Includes a chorus for songs like “There Is A Cloud” and “Hallelujah Here Below,” along with 8th or dotted-eighth delay and a dedicated swell button.

Jack-of-all-trades – For when you’re not playing songs from the teams above, this patch covers everything else. It’s thicker than Bethel but not as washed out. You get three drives tuned to my favorite light gain, medium gain and boost pedals (Lightspeed, Daily Driver and Jackson Audio Prism), along with a choice between 8th or dotted-eighth delay. It also includes chorus, tremolo, two stages of reverb, POG, optional compression via my Cali76 favorite block, and a dedicated swell button.
