Big Sky Preset Pack
This preset pack is designed to help you create rich, inspiring tones that work seamlessly in both stereo and mono setups. I personally use these presets every weekend, and you can hear them in my YouTube videos and on GuitarforHISGLORY.com. They are crafted to save you time while giving you the tools to develop your own unique sound.
Artist-Inspired Presets:
This pack includes 5 Bethel presets, 4 Hillsong presets, 5 Elevation Worship presets, and 2 Carson (Tomlin) presets. These are carefully crafted to capture the tones of well-known worship bands and give you direct access to sounds that fit perfectly into a worship setting.
GfHG Custom Presets:
You’ll also find Cloud 1-3 and Plate 1-3, which are variations of my favorite reverbs from over the years. These reverbs are deep and immersive, ideal for those ambient moments. They’re designed to be “very wet,” perfect for creating that big, atmospheric sound many worship guitarists are after.
Miscellaneous Presets:
For added variety, this pack includes 3 Chorale, 3 Spring, 3 Bloom, and 3 Magneto reverbs. You’ll also get Huge Plate, Bright Plate, Cloud Swell, and Bloom Swell, giving you a wide range of textures to play with and adapt to any worship environment.
Mono Reverbs (from the Early GfHG Days):
I’ve also included some classic mono reverbs from my earlier work—Bloom, Brighty Washy, Cloud, Shimmer, Swell Cloud, and Washy ‘Verb. These are perfect if you’re working with a mono setup but still want that lush, full sound.
In addition, there is a separate folder for Kemper. Since the Kemper is more compressed, I’ve made adjustments to the reverbs to ensure they still shine.
Preset Pack Methodology:
The presets are easy to navigate, with numbers 1, 2, and 3 indicating the intensity of the reverb—1 being more subtle and 3 being more washed out. Reverbs numbered 4 and higher are special, such as Bethel 4 (a vocal-like reverb) or Bethel 5 (a very bright plate). Circumstantial reverbs, like SHIMMER, are also clearly noted for specific uses.
Stay Connected:
When you purchase this pack, make sure to sign up for the GuitarforHISGLORY newsletter and follow the GfHG Instagram or Facebook page. This is how I’ll keep you updated with new presets and additional resources. If I release new presets after your purchase, you can always visit the update your preset pack page to find out how to get them.
Getting Started:
A Read Me file is included to walk you through how to import the presets, how they’re organized, and some tips on how to get the most out of them. You can import these presets into your pedal using a midi cable and Strymon’s visual editing program, NIXIE; or you can simply view them in NIXIE and adjust your pedal’s settings accordingly.
For my brothers and sisters outside the USA, you may need to visit my Etsy shop to purchase the pack. I’m grateful to be able to share these tools with you, and I pray that they will be a blessing to your worship team as you lead others in glorifying Christ through music.
