You can import these presets into your pedal using a MIDI cable (I use this one) and Meris’ editing program, prEDITOR, which is available for download on their website.
The Core Pack folder contains my starting points:
- DUAL: The Dual Delay I use most commonly.
- QUARTER TAPE: Quarter note tape delay.
- TAPE WARBLE*: Not BPM specific, designed to lay a subtle, ambient foundation with slight modulation—ideal for picking and soft, atmospheric playing.
- 8TH TAPE: 8th note tape delay.
- 16th Digital: Common for Phil Wickham songs.
- ANALOG DOT: Dotted eighth note analog delay for a warm, classic feel.
- DMM*: Mimics a Deluxe Memory Man. Not BPM specific, suitable for a looser delay effect.
- DOT TAPE +: Dotted eighth note tape delay with higher mix/more intensity.
- DOT TAPE: Dotted eighth note tape delay.
- DOT TAPE LO-FI: A dotted eighth note tape delay with a subtle lo-fi character for added texture and interest.
- DOT TAPE VIB: A dotted eighth note tape delay with added swirl for a lush, heavily modulated feel.
- DOT DIGITAL: Dotted eighth note digital delay for the classic “gallop” sound.
- AMBIENT SWELL*: A tape delay preset optimized for swells
The Core Pack also contains:
- Gratitude-ish*: I love the delay used in the chorus of Gratitude by Brandon Lake. It is very intense, and kind of messy. I like using something similar for ambient picking and raked parts.
- DD-3 Stutter*: You may never use this. I may never use this. But back in the day, the Boss DD-3 did this amazing stutter effect. I replicated it on the Meris for fun.
*For this preset to work as intended, ensure to set GLOBALS → TEMPO SEL to PRESET.
