The GFHG Pedalboard preset attempts to recreate my pedalboard and the switching system I use (RJM Mastermind PBC10). I love the combination of rigidity and flexibility I get from this setup. On one hand, I can touch one button to change wet effects and drives for a particular part of a song—that’s rigid. On the other hand, I can add effects in the moment if I feel the urge—that’s flexible. I was able to get pretty close with the FM9, so I hope you enjoy it!
This preset is a great all-around approach for the ambient, ethereal tones we use a lot today. It can be used as is, of course; but you can also use it as a template to start building your own presets!
*This product also contains two free song presets: This Is Our God by Phil Wickham and Lion and the Lamb
Step 1: Import the preset using FM9 edit from Fractal Audio
Step 2: Import the GFHG FM9 Layout (or use the stock FM9 layout, but I prefer the GFHG layout)
Step 3: Play

Master Output: I turn the master output on the FM9 all the way up, which is consistent with the outputs of other devices I use. If you need to adjust the level of any preset you’ve obtained from GuitarforHISGLORY.com/shop to match the output levels of your other presets, click the Out 1 block and adjust the Level.
